About

"It’s easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."

Children and adolescents today are growing up in a rapidly changing world, where they face mounting pressures from social media, academic demands, shifting family dynamics, and global uncertainty. Many struggle to make sense of their identity, emotions, and relationships in the midst of constant stimulation and comparison. Similarly, men often navigate societal expectations that discourage emotional vulnerability, leaving many to cope silently with stress, isolation, or unresolved pain. These challenges can leave both young people and men feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected—often without the tools or support to cope effectively. As Fred Rogers said, “Sometimes we forget that childhood and adolescence are not just preparation for adulthood — they are important in and of themselves.” Now more than ever, individuals of all ages need compassionate guidance and a safe space to process their experiences and develop resilience. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) practicing under the direct supervision of Megan Hutchens, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, #PC013363), for supervision and consultation purposes, while actively accruing hours toward full licensure as an LPC.
